This is s slim volume of essays by a farmer.a farmer gifted with words Each vignette was in and of itself Some hilarious, some quite thoughtful It took awhile to read, surprisingly, as I could only read a few or two at a time Nice to pick up with little time to read.

This book was a real surprise for me I m not sure what made me pick it up, but I found myself enthralled with the writing The author is a farmer who has taken his experiences and with humor and practicality, written a book that honors the land and those who work it Definately worth reading if you have any interest in farming, small town life or just superb writing.
