Hey, I m not the first reviewer for this volume Anyways, I m still not able to review this in the way I d like to In other words, writing out a review for each separate story in here and rating it separately, then combining the ratings to create a total score for it You know, what I typically do with short story collections But, alas, the cons of listening to things while at work Making sacrifices so I don t get in trouble for being online. But, like the others I ve listened to, this was excellent and I highly recommend it They re really well produced and fun to listen to, even if I figure half of them out before they finish.

Rod Serling was a gifted storyteller You can perceive his writing skill was not confined to the television screen with these well made radio dramas featuring contemporary actors I remember as a kid watching Twilight Zone marathons on TV and being captivated by them Only now do I realize my subsequent teenage enthusiasm for science fiction particularly speculative fiction must have come from all those Twilight Zone stories So sit back and use your imagination to unlock the door to both shadow and substance Enterthe Twilight Zone Buh buh BUHHHH da da da da da dum

1 Night Call 3.5 stars Basic idea, but with the sound effects and acting made it really creepy 2 Long Live Walter Jameson 1 star Basic idea, I like how the marriage kind of played a role, but the twist was okay 3 The Lateness of the Hour 5 stars I was shook And the ending was really good 4 The Thirty Fathom Grave 1 star Confusing and boring, had to listen to practically twice The twist and story was ok 5 The Man in the Bottle 1 star Boring, a basic genie wishes story The twist with Hitler was unexpected though 6 The Night of the Meek 2.5 stars Unexpected story on a basic idea Really interesting different perspective on the Christmas plot.

These were great radio adaptations There was only one episode that was just okay for me, which was the one about the submarine I thoroughly enjoyed the other episodes The cast was very good for each episode so I rated the narration as excellent I would definitely listen to of these

This was a real pleasant read or rather, listen I ve not watched either Twilight Zones, so I didn t really know what I was getting into, but I was very happy that I enjoyed this Everything except the one with the necromancer made me feel happy feeling in my belly when they were finished I especially loved the ones with the villains at the forefront because I loved seeing them get screwed over.
