A little slow at first as it filled in a lot of Chinese history not specifically related to Wing Chun, but if you like history in general you won t mind. Many good insights into the origin of Wing Chun, and an outline of the life of Yip Man Disappointingly little, but then again there s not much known about him.

The first book to take a look at the origins of Southern Chinese Martial arts It traces them from their origins in the mid 1800s to the present day.
