3.5 StarsSo this one was a little lacking since it rehashed some of the same information that was already received in Striped Bear but I did enjoy this book as well It was HOT, sexy, M M, shifter goodness wrapped up quick fast and dirty I also enjoyed the small bit of thriller and didn t need anything drawn out any than it was I knew this would be a short story and I felt that it served its purpose giving me all the goodness that I was looking for This specific video review will be included in the July 2018 wrap up For other video book reviews check out my YouTube Channel Steph s Rom Book Talk.

A sort of conclusion to the Furbidden Mates series following the mating of bear shifter, Mark, brother to Matt from book 1 and tiger shifter, Zeke, cousin to Ezra also from book 1.Psycho dad makes a reappearance, and we get to see that plot thread from the first story get tied off.Couple of things left me with a bit of head scratching, but all in all I enjoyed the story and the narration. Each story is only a couple of hours so it s no biggie to knock the two stories out back to back One note on the narration I would have preferred a deeper voice for Zeke He sounded a bitsmall, and not at all what I would expect of a huge tiger shifter.

This book follows up on where book one ends Definitely recommend reading and or listening to book one first before this one if you want the full story. This book was a quick listen with a decent plot and storyline overall This book has little to no angst and is really just a nice, easy way to pass some time without really having to dig deep into a crazy story I really enjoyed the narrators take on the voices for these characters I had fun listening to how Mark and Zeke met Like with book one, I was fascinated with the Bear Tiger mating so that was interesting to see happening again I am kind of hoping we get a third book with a storyline for the Polar Bear Asher, I would like to know about him But I think this book was a good end to the brothers Mark and Matthew s stories I am glad they were both able to find their HEA s especially with all of the family drama they had to endure to get to that point Their dad is a horrible person bear and I hope he rots in whatever jail or dungeon they throw him into.

This is a lovely sequel to Striped and Bear In Striped and Bear we saw a Bear who wanted to roam and now we have a Tiger who wants to nest. The couple meets on the plane to Mumbai not knowing they are going to the same place and realize they are mates but fighting the attraction. When they part ways at the airport they don t expect to see one another again so they re shocked to run into each other at Zeke s brother s house. There s a fight to be together that results in a delightful HEA and we get to check up on our previous MCs who are now expecting I love these two books and the narration by Gus Klondike is just perfect He does the emotion so well and I love his pacing and voice quality He does a nice job with the voices and making the listener feel like they re part of the story.Highly recommended for fans of shifter romance 4.25 of 5 stars

Blood alone does not make familyA fitting sequel, best read in order to appreciate this story Matt and Erza.Zeke is a tiger shifter and Mark is a bear shifter That is Bad enough, then add in being gay.Mark has seen his brother Matt follow his heart so for the good of the clan he believes he must ignore his instant connection to Matt. The family conflict is dealt with well and don t we all love a HEA.Looking forward to book 3.

I was glad to see that Matthew and Ezra s story was continued here and that the pregnancy results were revealed I found the most interesting character in the story to be Asher and so I m glad that the next story will be about him This series is a nice short read when you want something easy and kind of predictable in between heavy and longer works As I ve seen other people say in reviews of other books, it makes a good lunchtime read.

So I finished Striped and Bear and immediately had to read the second part of this storyso glad that I did I love the premise of this storydifferences bringing us together Bears, tigers, oh my This story picks up with Mark Matthew s younger brother meeting his mate Zeke Ezra s cousin alright, a little contrite I know but the story was fantastic Love, adventure, kidnapping, Polar bearsit s all here Thoroughly enjoyed this story and hope we get to see where the Bruner family and their mates kids go nextGus Klondike did another great job bringing the characters to live and using differing inflections to the characters Good book

Good sequel I liked that it still had the main characters from the first book, but it was about Mark, Matt s brother, finding his mate The story was short, but it still had a decent plot The smut was great of course I wish these were longer and had to them
