Easy read and predictable Definitely a good series for middle schoolers This novel focuses on Gabriella and her nahual powers She makes a discovery about the Emerald Wildcat and finally learns to get control over her powers The evil sorcerer was mentioned and we meet a few of his minions, but the story left me with questions I did learn what an aatxe is I like the diversity in mythology.
